Rule: 6.08(c)
If the catcher interferes with the batter’s swing:
The batter is awarded first base.
Any runners advance if forced.
If the batter hits the ball despite interference, the offensive team has the option to take the result of the play.
If a runner is stealing home and the catcher interferes by blocking the plate without the ball, it is obstruction, and the runner is awarded home plate.
